TAMPA, Florida – A 22-year-old mentally ill man was committed for a psych-evaluation after threatening to stab students and staff at a local elementary school.
Hillsborough County Sheriffs say Andrew Aman told his roommate he disliked the Tampa school Bellamy Elementary School because an exterior wall was painted like an American flag.

Sheriffs did not find any weapons or firearms at his home and stated that he was never a danger to the school. He’s being held for evaluation under Florida’s Baker Act.
