Tampa is waking up to more good news Sunday morning as Dorian’s track is staying far enough east where it won’t have much of an impact on us. Unfortunately for our friends on Florida’s east coast, it’s a different story. This morning, Hurricane Dorian reached Category 5 strength and its heading for The Bahamas. After that, it’s expected to head west toward Florida, but the hopes are that the models are correct and it will stay offshore. Otherwise, the results could be catastrophic. Many on Florida’s east coast have left town and the Tampa Bay Rays are doing something nice to welcome them… give them free tickets. Those forced to evacuate can show their Florida driver’s license at the box office today to receive complimentary tickets to see the Rays play Cleveland. Tickets will be distributed starting 90 minutes before game time.
