CBD is the non-psychoactive cannabinoid in cannabis that is known to work wonders on epilepsy, inflammation, and some studies show that CBD (and THC) can be used to work hard against cancer cells.

What happens when a dog, or cat, is given CBD to treat inflammation (arthritis)? Watch the video below, as this Florida lady does exactly that with her elderly dog with arthritis.

Remember: CBD does not alter your mental state or get you ‘high’; it is completely non-psychoactive. This is very important to keep in mind for those who want to try it for their own health reasons. Currently, CBD is legal for sale over the counter and for use in Florida without obtaining a medical cannabis license. While there is no formal study on CBD use on pets, there are hundreds if not thousands of testimonials that resemble the one in the video.
