The Tampa Bay Times reports an application is in for film crews to come to Hillsborough County on January 2 to shoot scenes for “Lady of the Manor.” It’s described as a “free-spirited, female-centered buddy comedy.” The movie is written and directed by Justin Long, who’s probably best known for his roles in Galaxy Quest, Jeepers Creepers, Dodgeball, and Alvin and the Chipmunks. Tampa’s Tony Stopperan will produce the movie. He has a studio in Ybor City. They say the film will spend about 2 weeks in production here, with a crew of about 80.
