Residents of a motel in Pinellas Park are being told they must vacate the property by December 15th or 19th and many have nowhere to go.

Brandon Thomson told New Channel 8 that she has kids and she has no place to go. The City Of Pinellas Park Community Redevelopment Agency purchased the property back in August and it’s not clear whether they are aware of this situation or if they can do something to help these people out. Residents of motels can be told to leave immediately, but these people have been living here for years and say they just now found out the have to pack up and leave the week before Christmas. Many residents say if they had been told earlier they would have had time to save money. Let’s hope WFLA follows up with the City of Pinellas on behalf of these residents so they don’t end up homeless for the holidays.
