When Disney showed off what is coming to their Star Wars section of Hollywood Studios, it was difficult to understand just how amazing these new attractions will be. Now, we’re seeing as the next big ride opens, Rise of the Resistance.

The latest addition to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance, opened this morning to Star Wars fans.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened with Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run as its first big ride back in August.

The park opened to guests today after 6 a.m. according to The Orlando Sentinel, almost two hours earlier than normal, to allow fans to get an early start on the newest attraction.

The technology on the new ride uses new animatronics and is one of the longest rides Disney’s Imagineers have yet built.

You can see some of the rides in the video below. Beware, there may be some spoilers. You can also find photos of the ride here.

There’s still more to come at Walt Disney World with the addition of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, a new resort that will immerse guests into the Star Wars world. Beware, it’s not for those who may faint at the sight of the bill, but for those who can afford it and are extreme Star Wars fans, the resort will be set to open in 2021, the year of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
