Two things that tend to bring a smile to the people of Tampa Bay have come together in an epic meeting. Coach Jon Cooper met Cooper the therapy dog from Moffitt Cancer Center. Cooper was named after Coach Cooper, head coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Cooper is 4-years-old and works as a therapy dog for the Tampa Moffitt Cancer Center. The people-helping K-9 had plenty of meet-and-greets during his visit to Amalie Arena this morning.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are set to face the Arizona Coyotes today at 7:00 pm at Amalie Arena. Arizona is coming off a 4-game win streak while the Lightning are on an 8-game win streak and blew out Vancouver 9-2 on Monday.
