It’s not a medication, but it’s a new technology that may just slow down the spread of coronavirus, and it has been developed by a USF professor in Tampa.

Dr. Yogi Goswami invented a way to kill viruses in the air to help his son who suffered from asthma and allergies.

Years later, he and his son started a Molekule, a company that sells his invention.

His son, Dilip, wants to send this system to China, where his friend’s parents are doctors.

The system could help stop the virus from spreading in hospitals, slowing the pace the coronavirus has taken infecting thousands in China, including doctors and nurses trying to treat the many cases that keep growing.
