If you were hoping by Independence Day, this whole virus life will be behind us, unfortunately, it looks like it’ll still be a thorn in our side. Creative Loafing reports that they talked to the powers that be for the City of Tampa and it looks like it’s a “no go” for the fireworks this year thanks to the coronavirus. It’s not completely a done deal yet. They say discussions are ongoing about it. But Tampa Mayor Jane Castor was pretty blunt, “We do not plan on doing Boom by the Bay right now.”
