Publix and Home Depot plan on adding testing sites to some stores in Florida.

CVS is already doing it. Governor Ron DeSantis said the state will provide resources at these sites, including staffing and equipment. They’ll be able to do up to 100 tests per day.

Retail testing sites offer the convenience factor and will help identify hotspots.

Governor DeSantis said, “What we’re finding is that we have the capacity to do at least 10,000 tests per day, just from the drive-thru sites. But we typically only have demand for about half that much.”

Both Publix and Home Depot will be adding three sites in Florida. We’ll keep you posted as to where they will be.
