Retailers have been feeling the effects of the coronavirus. Just yesterday we were talking about how Tuesday Morning is closing some Tampa area locations. Well, it’s not just the big retailers that are closing. This afternoon, The Huntley Family posted to their Facebook page that Wagon Wheel and Mustang Flea markets on Park Boulevard in Pinellas Park will not reopen. They say business has been going strong for over 50 years and that the decision to close for good wasn’t an easy one. Vendors can get access to the grounds to remove their merchandise and displays, but the general public is forbidden from being on-site. They say refunds will be issued once the booths are empty.

Statement on Facebook: To our beloved vendors and patrons, It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the news that the Wagon Wheel and Mustang Flea Markets will not be reopening. After almost 55 years of continuous business, the time has come for us to say farewell. Thank all of you for your patronage and support. This has been the most difficult decision we have ever made as a family. We wish you all the best. It is with tears and fond memories that we say goodbye and thank you.
