MoneyTalk 1010 Storm Center

Saturday (9/12) afternoon Tropical Depression 19 was upgraded by the National Hurricane Center to Tropical Storm Sally.

So that rain we have been getting today in Tampa Bay, it’s from Sally. Expect more rain on Sunday, as well. The storm has maximum sustained winds at 40mph and is moving.

A Tropical Strom Watch is in effect for the Florida panhandle. The storm is expected to strengthen to possibly a hurricane early next week as it moves across the Gulf. The updated track will be out at 5p.
