36-year-old Adam Johnson from Parrish is behind bars at the Pinellas County Jail in Clearwater, according to Channel 8. They say he was arrested last night at about 9pm. The Manatee County man was photographed smiling as he carried Nancy Pelosi’s lectern during the riots in Washington Wednesday. They went back and looked at his voting history. He’s only voted a couple of times, including in this past election. The part that surprised me the most… Channel 8 says they found that he’s a father of five kids and that Johnson is married to a physician.

According to the United States Department of Justice, Johnson has been charged with one count of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority; one count of theft of government property; and one count of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
Channel 8 talked to one of Johnson’s neighbors who said he was surprised but not shocked about what happened. One legal expert they talked to said Johnson could get decades in prison for his actions.
