A message went to Disneyland’s annual pass holders from Ken Potrock, who is the president of Disneyland Resort. It explained what was happening as Disney ends the pass holder program at the California parks, Disneyland, and Disney California Adventure.

For those pass holders who are losing their Disneyland benefits but have had their passes since before the shutdown, there will be some select extra discounts on merchandise, food, and drinks until the new plan is unveiled.

There will be information coming out at a later time that explains what will replace the Disney annual pass holder program for Disneyland Resort.

Here in Florida, Disney has halted the sale of new annual passes, though they will renew passes. Unlike the California parks, the central Florida parks have reopened, though in stages. Will the Disney corporation make changes to the pass holder program for Walt Disney World? Are you an annual pass holder at Walt Disney World?
