Last week Master Corporal Brian LaVigne, was killed in the line of duty, while protecting his community in Brandon, Florida. While we are safe from danger at home, behind locked doors, law enforcement officers like the late Corporal LaVigne are running towards danger every night, to keep us safe. Here is how you can give back.
If you would like to donate to the family of Master Corporal Brian LaVigne, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Officer who was shot and killed just one day before retirement, you can do so on the Lynn Sowers Memorial Website.
His funeral is being held today at Idlewild Baptist Church in Lutz at 11:00.
His daughter, DEP. Caitlyn LaVigne and friend, SGT. Tim Sullivan remembers Brian LaVigne in the video below.

Master Corporal Brian LaVigne's daughter & good friend reflect on the life he lived. He was a man who had a fierce passion for teaching, loved his career as a public servant and above all else his family was his top priority. https://t.co/1dNyMoWAs0
