Protesters interact with Capitol Police inside the U.S. Capitol Building on January 06, 2021 in Washington, DC.

ABC Action News reports that written threats were made by a Polk County deputy related to the attacks on the U.S. Capitol. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested Peter Haneen. Grady Judd says Haneen will be terminated after spending more than six years with the department. Judd says it was another deputy with the department that reported the threats, which included wording like “Need to make the streets of DC run red.” Judd calls that deputy who spoke up a hero.
