Investor’s Edge with Gary Kaltbaum

Stock Market Crash - The U.S stock market took a hit on March 16. It fell 2,997 points, which was the biggest drop since 1987.

Gary has said for weeks upon weeks that opening up trade within open areas was not happening. With some downright troubles.  On top of that, Gary says the yields are crashing. Now, what does this mean? Are these signs forecasting Trouble? Gary thinks the market is a great forecaster, and once we have the numbers in on Friday, it’ll either confirm or deny his suspicion. Looking at the numbers he received today, job creation is drastically down, though. It goes hand and hand with other economic stats that are less than stellar. Furthermore, this was an issue all before the market open today.

Gary then asks the audience if they know what got crushed in the market open today. All the areas he’s been warning to avoid or underweight in the last few weeks. Gary hopes that the transports will put a line in the sand and continue working. However, we see the airlines, cruise lines, casinos, and some hotels, not all. Outside of travel, greener energy has all been smoked today in the markets. Gary states that they were already having issues, but he asks, what’s the phrase we all use? Don’t rade below the 50-day average. Gary has yet to do the scans, but it doesn’t bode well.
