Investor’s Edge with Gary Kaltbaum

The Pfizer world headquarters stands in Midtown Manhattan on July 29, 2019 in New York City. On Monday morning, Pfizer announced the merger of its off-patent drug business with generic drugmaker Mylan. The new combined company will be based in the United States and Mylans EpiPen and Pfizers Viagra will be among its portfolio of products.

With Garth Brooks canceling his Stadium Tours, there is a sense of hurt. But in the huge scheme of things, if it were just Garth Brooks, it wouldn’t be big unless you are working those days. However, more and more bands are canceling due to the spike in the Delta Variant. Individually each band, there is no reason to worry, but we could see an issue if the current trend continues. Gary is also concerned over Isreal, as they did a great job, in his opinion, rolling out the vaccines but have seen a rise in the Delta Variant. This is something Gary wants everyone to pay close attention to.

Gary, however, is more upset with the recent string of actors and actresses that have come out with things to say on the vaccine. He believes they are just doing this for a grab at higher ratings and finds it disturbing. These groups of people are coming out and saying that it’s just the drug company trying to come out and make money. Gary doesn’t believe it one bit; he sees the correlation with the rise in the Delta Variant. Everything is a conspiracy or scam is what people are trying to say, and what is worse is that even former President Trump has come out to say the same thing. Gary states that no one is trying to screw you; he doesn’t care whether you get the vaccine or not; he wants you to have free will. Finally, he warns you about who you are listening to because some of them are just con-artist.
