President Biden has taken 20 minutes recently to pat himself on the back. Gary equates it to taking a victory lap of everything that happened in Afghanistan. First, the botched withdrawal left millions of dollars of equipment, Americans, and allies behind as the Taliban took control. Second, we saw the loss of 13 brave men and women on an attack from the same group. Third, they traveled house to house searching for American Allies and murdering them in cold blood. Yet President Biden has the gall to talk about its success.
Gary is sad to see the progress of Afghanistan be wiped away. Slowly moving from the Dark Ages there was a light at the end of the tunnel for Afghan people. First, Gary knows that women will be losing their rights. Treated like dirt and even worse sold into slavery. Secondly, they have attacked the arts. Shooting and killing a musician in the streets with no remorse. Gary knows he is an armchair quarterback, but he has done his due diligence. The President claimed that he has ended the war. Gary calls that false as we haven’t seen an attack of the magnitude that killed US service members in many moons. Joe Biden wants to get everyone to congratulate him and Gary wants to know for what.
