KAISERSLAUTERN, GERMANY - AUGUST 30: Soldiers look at drawings from recently-arrived refugees from Afghanistan seen at a temporary camp at the U.S. Army's Rhine Ordnance Barracks (ROB), where they are being temporarily housed, on August 30, 2021 in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Several U.S. military facilities with the capacity to house up to several thousand evacuees are participating, in an operation called Operation Allied Refuge. Celeste, a veteran of the United States Army, retired Sergeant First Class (SFC), calls into the Schnitt show today with a couple of things to say. First, she is distraught with Biden leaving over 200 plus American’s and allies in Afghanistan. Furthermore, the FAA is refusing to clear the air over Afghanistan, restricting flights from private contractors. It requires approval from the State Department at this point for access. She states this is all President Biden’s doing because of not being a regular NATO operation. His attempts to make himself look better to have been at the cost of so many lives.

Celeste held a background in Logistics that has her cringing at the way the whole withdrawal happened. However, she wants all soldiers to listen that this is not their fault; the current administration is at fault.  Celeste admits that we needed to get out of there, but this was not the way to do it, and shame on the government for trying to whitewash it like that. Furthermore, she has a message for Biden, “GET THE AMERICANS OUT!” She remembers many times people of these foreign conflicts have helped us and thinks it’s shameful to turn our back on them.
