Schnitt believes there is some deceptive information being put out not from ABC News but the Pentagon. For example, Schnitt has the audio from a recent Pentagon brief that talks about the amount of equipment left behind in Afghanistan. Ian Panel, ABC’s foreign correspondent, reports on the Taliban, claiming victory over America. They seized a damaged C-130 that the US attempted to destroy beyond repair. Schnitt has looked into it, and there is more than just the single plane; we did serious damage to most of the equipment left behind.

Schnitt has a huge problem, though, because ABC isn’t telling the whole story. They talk about a few pieces that have been destroyed, but there are tens of thousands of different pieces of equipment around the country we didn’t get to. Most of the equipment was in control of the Afghan National Army, and they handed that over to the Taliban. Schnitt looking at the video, firmly believes that this stuff will never fly again. More than the planes, we see Mine Resistant Ambush Protectant (MRAP) Vehicles weapons, Night Vision optics, and more in the Taliban’s hands.

The Schnitt Show can be heard from 3 to 6 pm on Tampa Bay’s Business Address, Money Talk 1010.
