Schnitt Show

Weekdays 3PM - 6PM

WASHINGTON, DC - JANUARY 6: Jacob Anthony Angeli Chansley, known as the QAnon Shaman, is seen at a Trump rally in Dalton, Georgia on the 4th of January. He attended the Capitol riots on the 6th of January in Washington, DC. On January 9, Chansley was arrested on federal charges of "knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and with violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds" Trump supporters clashed with police and security forces as people stormed the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 in Washington, DC. Demonstrators breeched security and entered the Capitol as Congress debated the 2020 presidential election Electoral Vote Certification.

There is a Capitol Rally for the January 6 Riots planned this weekend, and everyone is on alert, reports Schnitt. TSA is on alert, fencing is being placed back up, and there is a request to neighboring states to activate their National Gaurd Units. Organizers of this rally are protesting for those incarcerated for January 6th, believing them to be Patriotic Americans exercising their first amendment rights. Schnitt wants to know how many people are showing up and what is going to be the outcome. He believes it will be peaceful, and nothing will come from it. Schnitt’s belief on this is that we will see people from all across the political spectrum, and that’s fine.

Schnitt has read reports that close to 700 people are going to show up to this rally, and he believes that is very low. He is not expecting another riot or insurrection, but just some loud people, and that is all. This rally is not the first or only of its kind, as similar ones have been planned all across the country. They even hold the same goal, which is opposition to the arrest made for the January 6th riots. Authorities have reported being on high alert for the rally due to a lack of security from January 6th. Homeland Security has reported they are braced for anything, siting connections from the January 6th Rally with the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers.
