Investor’s Edge with Gary Kaltbaum

Weekdays

Gary wants to tie in some of the politics affecting sports recently. Outside of Kyrie Irving being benched by the Nets, the biggest headline comes from the NFL. Former Tampa Head Coach Jon Gruden has resigned from being the Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders amidst past emails being released where he said some rather racist and misogynistic things. Gary loves that Jon came out and said he wasn’t racist, but his actions prove otherwise.

What Gary finds interesting is the list of people that have come out against Jon Gruden. Gary is not impressed because they are the same people who have rappers doing the Superbowl show who have songs that glorify raping women. There is so much hypocrisy not only between sports but also between entertainers and politicians. In entertainment, we saw Jimmy Kimmel with Black Face and even Virginia Governor as well. Yet, they never resigned or were fired. They are held because they fit a certain mold. Gary is not impressed with how the entertainment and political world have lowered their standards for certain people but set the bar high for others.
