Gary has recently traveled and must admit that his Airports have been more packed than ever. The restaurants in the airports are even open later. This shows that business is opening up to match and meet travel. The issue, though, Gary claims, is that they don’t have enough people staffing the inside of the airport. Gary tells of a food court in Newark, NJ, that took over 25 minutes to deliver his paid food. The manager on duty apologized because they didn’t have the staff to meet the demand.
Gary is not happy with this because there are so many jobs open out there. Businesses are picking up but will it be enough to bring people back to work. Travel is huge and is an excellent sign of a booming economy, states Gary. Even when Gary was on the plane, it was 95% full, showing people were going places. This may be the sign that things are slowing down since the Covid-19 pandemic. Delta has been something to worry about, but the indications of hope are on the horizon. People are not scared anymore as you turn on the tv and the crowds are packed into stadiums.
