Schnitt Show

Weekdays 3PM - 6PM

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - OCTOBER 15: Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos pose for photographs at the beginning of a town hall format meeting at the National Constitution Center October 15, 2020 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The second presidential debate was originally scheduled for this day but was cancelled after President Donald Trump refused to participate in a 'virtual' debate after he tested positive for the coronavirus and was hospitalized for three days.(Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)

Schnitt did not care for the Biden Town Hall last week on CNN. Anderson Cooper did everything he could to comfort the current President, and Schnitt was not having it. Not to mention that there was not a seriously asked question during the entire time they were live.

Schnitt throws shade at CNN and Anderson Cooper mainly for the softball questions but how they let the President have such an easy way out. Every time they could have pressed an issue, they would let him walk away, Schnitt claims. But, the blame isn’t all on the media giant but was also on Joe Biden. The President did not have a legit answer to anything and was unable to give an understandable response.

Schnitt didn’t like the way they packed the audience for the questions. However, CNN went out of its way to ensure they had more Democratic members ready than others. To CNN’s count, they did manage to have a mixed audience, but the overall breakdown was deplorable. 7 Democrats, 2 Republicans, and 3 Independents. Schnitt doesn’t believe that the Republicans are even true Republicans as they come from Baltimore. That aside, if you add the Independents with Republicans, the Democrats still outweigh them both.

Overall, Schnitt was not impressed.
