The northbound Exit 49 to Bird Street and the southbound Exit 50 to Busch Boulevard are closing Monday, November 1, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 2.
These temporary closures are a part of the wrong-way detection device installation project on interstate ramps in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.
During these closures, northbound motorists traveling to Bird Street Exit 49 or southbound traveling to Busch Boulevard Exit 50 will follow the posted detours below:
Detour for Bird Street: Use Exit 48, continue east on Sligh Avenue, north on Nebraska Avenue towards Birds Street.
Detour for Busch Boulevard: Use Exit 51, continue west on Fowler Avenue, south on Florida Avenue towards Busch Boulevard.
