After a while, you think this is some bad episode of House of Cards. Well, with the Cuomos, it might as well be as new reports have come out that the accused Andrew Cuomo’s (Former Governor of New York) brother used his “Media Sources” to look into the accusers. This is all thanks to the released documents from the NY Attorney General.

Text messages and tweets have been recovered between Chris Cuomo and DeRosa also show that the TV journalist leveraged his connections to find out if more women were going to come forward against his brother.  Other texts show that he asked another journalist for information on a story being written for the New Yorker, which centered around Boylan, which started the spark that ignited the scandal.

Cuomo told investigators that he reached out to a ‘non-journalistic source while fishing for information on the wedding incident.

Since the airing of the show, CNN has released a statement on the scandal:

“The thousands of pages of additional transcripts and exhibits that were released today by the NY Attorney General deserves a thorough review and consideration,” CNN stated. “We will be having conversations and seeking additional clarity about their significance as they relate to CNN over the next several days.”
