Tampa Bay Today With Shriner

The story has been setting the NFL world on its end as Antonio Brown decided to quit the Bucs in an epic fashion.

This was the scene as Antonio Brown stormed off the field ripping his jersey off walking towards the locker room. Bruce Arians was thrown back as nothing of this caliber had ever been seen. Bruce had asked Antonio Brown multiple times to get on the field and after Brown refused to go Arians told him he was done and to leave and so Brown took him to his word. Arians responded to the incident in a later press conference that Brown is no longer a Buccaneer.

It has been reported that Brown was not allowed to fly back with the team. However, Tom Brady took a different approach than the Head Coach and asked for compassion. “I think everybody should hopefully do what they can to help him in ways that he really needs it,” Brady told reporters. “We all love him. We care about him deeply. We want to see him be at his best.” Brady was one of the main reasons Brown was on the Bucc’s after pressuring them to hire him as he did the same for New England.

Despite this action, the Bucs were able to win over the Jets 28-24.
