Glenn Youngkin is a name that has sounded the shot heard around the US in recent months because of his massive success in Virginia’s recent governor race. He beat incumbent-backed Terry McAullife in an upset that many conservatives see a red wave in the upcoming mid-terms. Funny enough, Virginia is seeing that natural weather this time of year, and it has shut down 179 miles of roadway across the state. So now, Glenn Youngkin is under attack despite not being in office.
Youngkin, who is not sworn in yet, (this happens Jan. 15), is now being attacked for doing nothing. Many were stuck in traffic overnight and frigid weather. That’s when the attacks started against the Governor-elect. Many claimed he wasn’t doing anything and others said he was not doing enough. Some of the quotes that have since been removed from Twitter read, “does Virginia’s new Governor Youngkin know people have been stranded on I-95 for 15 hours?”
Tucker Carlson did a segment on this, calling out some of the fallacies in people’s arguments and getting a hopeful little tidbit on the new Virginia Gov. Tucker spoke with Vince Coglianese. The latter observed that Youngkin received briefings and communicated about the snow catastrophe with the media.
