Weekdays 3PM - 6PM

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, questions U.S. Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger during the Senate Rules and Administration Committee oversight hearing on January 5, 2022 in Washington, D.C. One day before the anniversary of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, the committee will hear testimony on the status of the U.S. Capitol Police.

Ted Cruz flipped on the Republican Party in a recent conversation held on the Senate floor. This has not to bode well with many Conservatives and Republicans, as many have taken to Twitter to bombast the senator from Texas. Recently talking on the events of January 6th, Ted Cruz spoke on C-SPAN, saying something many would believe to be a Left talking point.

He opens by talking about the day as a violent terrorist attack on the capital. This is despite there only being 1 known death from last year. He tried to call out to the Capitol Police that day, calling them brave for enduring the attack.

Tucker Carlson has also come out to slam the RINO (Republican In Name Only). Tucker, who has been very against calling the riots of January 6th anymore than that took to his primetime show, slammed him throughout the entire episode. “You’re making us think, maybe the Republican Party is as worthless as we suspected it was. That can’t be true,” Carlson concluded. “Reassure us, please, Ted Cruz.” Tucker even reminded people of the damages and harm caused the day Trump was inaugurated, saying there was a vast difference between the two events. Regardless of what you believe it seems Ted Cruz has flipped on the Republican Party.
