Another character attack on the Florida Govenor suggest he was planning to make it illegal to make white people feel 'discomfort'. This has been proven...

It made headlines all through the country that Governor Desantis had proposed a bill that would protect white people from feeling ‘discomfort.’ The article slammed the Florida Governor stating that it would “prohibit public schools and private businesses from making white people feel ‘discomfort’ when they teach students or train employees about discrimination in the nation’s past.”

The bill is precisely what those who hate discrimination would want. It aims to make it illegal for subjecting people as a condition of their “employment, membership, certification, licensing, credentialing, or passing an examination, to training, instruction, or any other required activity” that members of any race, sex, or national origin are inherently racist, sexist of oppressive is wrong. The bill actually aims to strengthen Civil Rights laws already in place supported by both the state and federal governments.

The bill does mention discomfort twice, but there is no one specified. One such section reads, “An individual should feel discomfort, guilt, anguish, or any other form of psychological distress on account of his or her race, color, sex, or national origin.”

Desantis Spokeswoman Christina Pushaw took to Twitter quickly to call out the people associated with the start of this controversy.

Before people get to headed up with the “race” thing, the bill was introduced by Senator Manny Diaz, Jr., A Hispanic Senator from Miami.
