If you were trying to make your way south of St. Petersburg this morning, it was a tough go of it when all southbound lanes were closed at around 5am on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Erin Murray from Bay News 9 monitored the situation and posted to Twitter that a man climbed to the top of a parked U-Haul truck and sat. She says emergency crews came to the scene and were able to get him down safely. ABC Action News tweeted that he was put into a patrol car. Lanes reopened sometime around 8am.
