New Wildlife Corridor Will Allow Animals To Cross Under I-4 In Polk County. Cue the Tarzan Yell! Polk county will reconnect the Hilochee Wildlife areas for the first time in 50 years. This will keep animals safe from the 100,000 drivers as they cross to the other side of I-4.
For years, residents have been dealing with roaming animals. recently a Panther was spotted in some back yards in South Lakeland. And, a Bear was spotted roaming downtown Haines City on some Ring Cameras.
