WASHINGTON, DC - JUNE 07: U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen testifies during a hearing before Senate Finance Committee at Dirksen Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill June 7, 2022 in Washington, DC. The committee held a hearing to examine the Biden Administration’s budget request for fiscal year 2023 for the Treasury Department.

Whether it’s to ease American Minds or total incompetency is hard to say but Biden officials refuse to admit the Obvious problems facing Americans. A recession is peeking its head over the horizon and when pressed on the matter Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said: “that a recession is not inevitable.” Now this wouldn’t be so bad if Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm and Brian Deese, director of the National Economic Council were not repeating her words.

Granholm however admitted that she herself believes the issue to be the high price of Gas. She also admitted that it is possible for the Federal Government to suspend its Gas tax to reduce the pressure on middle-class citizens. Yellen responded to the tax suspension by calling it a “holiday”

The Biden Administration admitted that it was wrong to downplay the threat of inflation and says it is shifting gears to combat the issue. [Source USA Today]
