Fans cheer for a news crew prior to Super Bowl LV when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs at Raymond James Stadium on February 07, 2021 in Tampa, Florida.

It’s true. It’s now documented. Your Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the least stressful team to be a fan of in the National Football League according to a new study by The Action Network.

They figured in things like close losses and losing players who were fan favorites during the 2021-2022 season. I’m guessing they meant the REGULAR season and not the playoffs. Other elements taken into consideration to come up with a “Stress Index Score”: close wins, won-loss percentage, and the number of losses when they went into the game as a favorite. They even factored in the number of negative comments fans left on social media.

So which team was the most stressful NFL franchise to be a fan of? That honor goes to the stressed out fans of the Baltimore Ravens, who got a stress index of 104.97, which is WAY ahead of the #2 team… the New York Giants at 86.73. The Bucs NFL Stress Index was a mere 39.42.

It’s good the Bucs let us chill out. Because the Rays and Lightning this year took a year or two off my life for sure. [Source: TAN]
