It is still hard to believe that Fort Myers was nearly wiped off the face of the Earth. People are rebuilding rather quickly down there and even now people are still trying to support victims of Hurricane Ian. Pasco Firefighters are doing No-Shave-November for Victims of Hurricane Ian.
This isn’t actually a new thing for Pasco Firefighters, in fact they usually do this charity for Firefighters who are cancer victims. From now until Nov. 19 Pasco’s finest will be growing out their mustaches and on the 19, they will all meet up at Double Branch Brewery in Wesley Chapel. That’s when they will compete in the “Movemeber Shave-Off.” They would love to get the boys to grow out beards to accompany the mustaches but due to safety concerns they cannot.
One of the targets for this year’s Charity is Cody Janski. He was on standby at a local shelter when the Hurricane Ian hit his home where his wife and 3-year-old daughter were staying. They had to swim out of the house as it was destroyed and now, they are currently staying with family. [Source WFLA]
