What’s not to love about going to Disney? Well, some of these bad practices people tend to do while they are there. A former designer for Disney Theme Parks has come out to give some things she really wishes guests would stop doing. Not to benefit her but to help others have just as good of a time as anyone. Some seem like pretty common sense, but she figured it was worth saying out loud for those who don’t understand.

  • Don't Wear Flip Flops

Look we are starting off with a common sense one here. The average person will walk 7-10 miles in a day, that’s more than some people walk in a week let’s be honest. But guests tend to want to embrace the summer weather that Florida is known for. That’s cool but if you want don’t want blisters for days then it’s highly recommended that you wear something that covers the foot and has support.

  • Rails Are Not For Sitting

After that 7-10 miles you have been walking that day its gonna look quite tempting to sit somewhere and just take a load off. Well don’t do it on the rails. Their are many cases of people falling off and hurting themselves and others but the real reason to not do it is because it slows the lines down. She also mentioned something about keeping the place looking pretty the way the designed but we all know we don’t want the lines to slow down more than they already have.

  • Quit Texting Down Main Street

So much to see just walking down the street would you really want to be looking at your phone? Probably not. Well so many people do and its actually causing them to stumble on the some of the old time asthetics of the park. Curbs, lamp posts, and trolley tracks, they all have caused multiple injuries by the unaware. Plus how many arguments have you heard from people who bumped into each other. If you must text someone walk over to the side out of the path and do it there.

  • No Flash Photography

Look the photo expert in you that understands the right lighting but the jerk in you doesn’t understand the impact on others. Don’t take photos with flash, because telling you not to take photos is a waste of time. The Imagineer wants you to buy that photo pass we just ask that you remember others around you. Are way is much cheaper.

  • Don't Argue With the Employees

Want to know the quickest way to be on the radio. Make a spectacle of yourself by yelling at employees at the park. People will record it and every morning show in America will be laughing at you not with you. They are doing their job to keep the park running safely and securely its best if you keep that in mind. If you have an issue with an employee see guest services and address it there. Most people are arguing about ride hight but don’t put your child at risk because you want to be the cool parent.

  • Don't Fake Medical issues To Skip the Lines

Look this is just being a scummy human being so lets not do this one anywhere. Agreed? Agreed. Now that we got that out of the way the park can accommodate those with special needs, such as wheelchairs or scooters. But there are those who like to abuse a system that hurts those around you. People aren’t jealous and it makes them more callous against those with real injuries because of people like that.
