I love to get out on my motorcycle and travel throughout the country. See the sights make new friends, and taste fresh foods. But sometimes you don’t have to go far to do all of that, especially when it comes to finding food. Throughout my travels, I have found several great places that are delicious and unique, and I recommend you try and find them on your next outing in Florida.
Ulele of Tampa
Let’s start local and work our way out—a taste of Florida cuisine with a classic Florida view. Added in with a 2100 Sq Ft brewery, you are guaranteed to find something that excites those taste buds. You can even host big parties or maybe even your wedding here as well.
Frenchy's Café
Let that view alone sell you on this Clearwater beach Cafe. If you are visiting the world’s most famous beach, you might as well hit up one of its most popular dining spots. With their own variety of hot sauces and delicious-looking burgers, you can understand why it’s a must-stop for any traveler or Florida Native.
Oxford Exchange Tampa
How about a bit of taste of English living without traveling across the big pond. Well, look no further than Oxford Exchange of Tampa. They have multiple gathering areas for you to visit and many delicious menus to choose from, including brunch, dinner, and more.
Mazzaro's Italian Market, St. Petersburg
Look, there is not a week that goes by I don’t talk about what a great place Mazzaro’s is. This right here is where to eat if you want the great taste of local Italian food. Fresh cut meats and cheeses at your disposal and a menu with enough items on it it’ll take you over a month to get through the whole thing.
The Bubble Room, Captiva Island
If you made it all the way down onto Captiva Island, then you probably passed this little spot on the way. What you likely thought is that it was some tourist trap meant to notice you with its wacky design. Well, it is not. It’s actually a restaurant that is quite famous. Fille to the brim with Old Hollywood memorabilia, Christmas decorations (year-round), antiques, and toy trains. It’s a different experience that will have you want to make Captiva Island a must-stop destination anytime you visit Florida.

Just The Cook, Panama City
Food trucks are excellent, but how about a food boat? That is right, this floating sea shack is a full-blown food boat, and it gets better than that. The owner is a pretty big deal appearing on multiple tv shows for his excellent food and unique premise. In addition, he live-streams his delicacies on Twitch, so you get to see just how your food mismade. So go in and ask for the grilled cheese it’s to die for.
Old Spanish Sugar Mill, De Leon Springs
Florida is rich in Spanish history, and Old Spanish Sugar Mill and Pancake house will not shy away from that. Located in Florida’s many state parks, you have to make this stop and try some of their delicious pancakes. Once done, walk it all off by venturing through the park or pick a lazier route and rent a boat to travel through the waterways.
Guanabanas, Jupiter
How about a Tiki bar feel without having to go to Hawaii. Look no further than in Jupiter, Florida than Guanabanas. This place is an all-around grat treat with great cocktails and mouthwatering nachos. Located right off the waterfront in Jupiter, the layout is just so relaxing.
Yoder's Restaurant and Amish Village, Sarasota
If you just want a delicious dessert, then you really have to stop by Yoder’s Restaurant; the Amish Village is just a plus after that. The food there is amazing because if it’s made from scratch taste. And if you need some fresh produce afterward, check out their large market with some of the freshest fruits and vegetables you will ever have.
Blue Heaven, Key West
Florida has many hot spot travel locations, and the Keys are a must-see for any visitor or even Florida Native. Deserts and a great breakfast with a special Sunday menu will make you beg your family to stay long enough to try.
Whether you are a local or just a visitor, make sure you plan to hit at least one of these delicious food spots. They will be guaranteed to be the highlight of your day.
